Conference Highlights
On November 26, Olena Gryniuk, Founder & CEO at WOA.digital and CEE Director at SME Banking Club, opened the event by emphasizing the importance of collaboration and innovation in shaping the future of factoring and receivables finance, and gave an overview of the state of digitalization of factoring in Europe. 24 factoring companies offer a fully digital factoring process in Europe, the main part of which is located in Poland (learn more from the Digital Factoring Study).

Panel 1: Designing an End-to-End Digital Factoring Process
Michał Sitkowski from CRIF Poland and Konrad Kocoń from ING Commercial Finance (Poland) shared their use cases and strategies for automating credit decision processes in ING Commercial Finance in Poland, one of the first factoring companies that implemented a digital factoring product for SMEs.

After that, Michał Pawlik moderated a panel discussion, featuring insights from Finspot (Serbia) and Instant Factoring (Romania) on building fully digital workflows.

Panel 2: AI-Driven Transformation in Receivables Finance
Moderated by Diederick van Thiel (Advicerobo), the next panel discussion explored how AI is reshaping risk management and customer engagement. Panelists from efcom (Germany) and PKO Faktoring (Poland) highlighted practical applications of AI in their organizations and future trends.

Panel 3: How E-Invoicing Accelerates Factoring and Embedded Finance
Presentations by PartnerHUB, BÁV Faktor (Hungary), and SEFlink (Serbia) showcased how e-invoicing enables embedded finance and streamlines factoring processes. The panel discussion, led by Katalin Kauzli (WOA.digital, PartnerHUB), focused on integration challenges and opportunities.

Panel 4: Enhancing Factoring Sales with Digital Tools

Panel 5: Automation of Contractor Verification in Factoring
Oksana Kharchenko (YouControl), Irena Turianska-Wasilewska (Vercly), Adam Soukal (Platební instituce Roger), and Olena Gryniuk discussed how to automate supplier verification in the factoring process. 67% of factoring companies still rely on manual or partially automated verification in the CEE region. Why? Limited invoice volumes, concerns about ROI, and API readiness for integrating end-to-end automation tools are among the main reasons.

Closing Remarks & Networking
The event concluded with closing remarks from Olena Gryniuk, followed by a networking reception on the 19th floor of Varso Tower that fostered collaboration among industry peers.

WOA.digital thanks all our Partners for their cooperation and support!
